At Grass to Milk Company we are committed to expanding knowledge on the functional properties of A2 and grass fed milks and are currently engaged in several research projects.

  • Assessing the impact of A2 protein on pro (IL-6, TNF) and anti-inflammatory (IL-10) cytokines using macrophage cell lines. Assessment of these parameters versus A1 protein and leading competitor products.

  • Assessing the impact of A2/grass-fed protein on gut microflora using a murine animal model. Assessment versus A1/non grass-fed dairy and leading competitor products. This research will be conducted in Teagasc by one of the foremost and highly cited researchers in the field globally.

  • Quanitification of concentration (w/w, w/v) A2 protein in leading competitor products versus G2M products.
